I get the occasional questions regarding what hiking shoes I like, well we left the mountains and headed for the sand so lets talk about my latest love.

I orginal purchased these Ecco Yucatan sandals a few yrs ago for hiking in areas with water crossings. Then I hit my late 40's and became fearful of a slip, trip or fall while on the trail. For a time they became my exploring European Island adventure sandals (yes my shoe closet is full with shoes for a specific purpose), this week I discovered how great they worked on compacted sand. OMG, 5 mile walks on the beach have never felt better! I love these for long walks on the beach! They have the perfect support and comfort and make walking on the sand effortless. #ecco #eccoshoes #beachvibes #walksonthebeach👣

Woke up this morning with the comforter over my he

Woke up this morning with the comforter over my head and 67 degrees in my room, which means it was 20 degrees colder outside. Hopped out of bed washed my hair, showered, grabbed a couple of swimsuits, sandals, shorts, loaded up the car and headed to the beach. 4.5 hrs later and 83 degrees I landed back in Low County! God it's good to see and hear the ocean again!
